. WELCOME to the official website of Penguins In Existence, the charity that aims to protect all penguins from the impending doom of the melting polar ice caps. Who are we? P.I.E was founded in 2004 by two aspiring members of KJ's forum, Alex "Cap'n Tarctic" Lambert and Sophie "Soh-Pie" CE (i.e. yours truly). Claims that the founders were highly drunk at the time have been dismissed. Where you might have heard of us... Mentions of our organisation have featured on www.kirbehameha.co.uk, as well as in the bestselling novel by Robin "Captain Sensible" Allen; "Penguins in Existence" which tells the story of a team of brave men attempting to reach the coveted four-sided triangle before someone not very nice gets their hands on it. There's also a lot of stuff about penguins. This story may soon be available on www.foon.co.uk. What are our aims? Penguins are at great risk from having their homes destroyed thanks to us and out pollution. Global warming is melting the polar ice caps and an alarming rate, which could spell disaster for our feathered flightless friends. The solution? A giant pie! Did we just say a giant pie? Sure. And it's such genius that we're totally surprised no-one has thought of it before. All we have to do is bake a pie the size of Alaska, set the temperature to cold and Voíla! An abode fit for a king. Or a few thousand penguins. They can live in it AND eat it, thus we are killing two birds with one stone, which I say in the loosest of senses so as not to frighten the poor things. How can YOU help?
